VAWD certification

Pharma Logistics was one of the first reverse distributors to have completed vigorous certification requirements for The National Association of Boards of Pharmacy’s Verified-Accredited Wholesale Distributors® (VAWD®) Program.

The VAWD program was developed with the support of the Food and Drug Administration to provide assurance that a facility operates legitimately, maintains valid licenses, and offers secure handling of prescription drugs from dispensers, distributors, manufacturers, waste management providers and other institutions.

To achieve this certification, Pharma Logistics underwent a thorough compliance review, verification of licenses, confirmation of safe policies and procedures, employee checks, facility inspections and screening through a NABP Clearinghouse.
