Payback™ is Pharma Logistics’ online returns management software designed to support the complete returns process. Payback helps you conduct inventories of indated, expired and recalled pharmaceuticals being returned for credit, track the credits associated with the returned pharmaceuticals, meet regulatory reporting requirements, and analyze returns data for trends to make better informed purchasing decisions in the future.

    Inventory management system

    Payback‘s inventory management tool helps you keep better records of your expired, indated and recalled products. Our inventory program allows you to:

    • Conduct inventories of indated, expired and recalled pharmaceuticals
    • Import your unique formulary and pricing contracts
    • Run inventory comparison checks between Payback and your wholesaler inventory system
    • Capture returns product information using barcode scanners provided by Pharma Logistics to eliminate manual data capture
    • Analyze the volume and type of returns products at all locations for better inventory control
    • Monitoring of shelf-life, expiration dates and inventory flow

    Real-time job tracking

    Even before the first box of expired product leaves your pharmacy, you will be able to track the entire returns process in real time. Payback runs off the same database our employees use to process returns, characterize waste or to reconcile credits. Payback’s job tracking offers:

    • Easy-to-read graphics displaying the progress of each job
    • Real-time audit trails to track the shipping, receipt, inventory, movement and final disposition of each item within the returns container
    • Ability to search and sort the inventory of returned jobs by credit reconciliation reports, itemization of controlled substances, returnable or nonreturnable products, etc.
    • Detailed information on each returns job which include name, NDC number, strength, dosage form, lot number, expiration date, manufacturer, quantity, estimated return value, etc.
